Terms of Use

These terms cover the iOS apps published by Abdulrahman Azmy trading as xuranium (bundle identifiers beginning com.xuranium.). They are written in the first person because one person writes and publishes these apps; "I" means that person and "you" means the person using an app.

Each app also has its own terms, and for that app they govern. Where anything below differs from an app's own page, the app's own page wins, because it describes what that app actually does. This page exists so that a link to xuranium.com/terms always resolves to something true.

What these apps are

They are self-tracking and educational tools. You enter records; the app performs arithmetic on what you entered and shows you the result. They are not medical advice, not medical devices, not treatment, and not a substitute for a qualified clinician or counsellor. No app of mine diagnoses anything, names a condition or a stage, or recommends, prescribes or adjusts any medication or dose.

No app of mine blocks, restricts or prevents access to anything on your device, and none claims to.

Any figure an app shows is arithmetic performed on numbers you entered yourself. If the records cannot support a conclusion, the app is written to say so rather than to produce one.

Your data

There is no account, no login and no server. What you record stays on your device and in your own iCloud, and I never receive it — I cannot read it, cannot recover it for you and cannot hand it to anyone else. Each app's privacy policy states this specifically for that app, and those pages are the ones to rely on: Pouch Break · Stepdown · Hands Off · PeriLog · BetLedger.

Everything you record remains yours. I claim no rights over it.

Subscriptions

Every app has a free tier that does not expire and carries no advertising. No app of mine shows advertising in any tier.
Paid tiers are offered monthly and yearly only. There is no weekly plan in any app. The price for each app is stated on that app's own page and inside the app itself; the figure Apple charges is set for your country and may differ from any figure quoted on this website.
Where a free trial is offered it is seven days, granted once per subscription group per Apple ID. If you have trialled before, you are charged immediately.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and your account is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before renewal. You do not need the app in order to cancel, and there is no in-app flow designed to keep you. Cancelling before a trial ends means you are not charged.
Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by me: support.apple.com/billing.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute an app, and do not use one in any unlawful way.

Disclaimer and liability

The apps are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. They do not guarantee any outcome, health-related or financial. To the fullest extent permitted by law I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

I may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
