PeriLog is a perimenopause symptom-and-treatment log that produces a printable summary you can take to an appointment. This policy describes what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, no server of ours, and your data does not leave your devices.
PeriLog has no user accounts, no login, no sign-up, and no backend operated by us. We cannot see your entries, because they are never sent to us.
Everything you enter is stored on your iPhone, and — if you have iCloud enabled — synced to your own private iCloud database, which only you can access. That includes:
If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app works normally and keeps everything locally on that device only.
PeriLog reads your sleep analysis, resting heart rate and menstrual flow from Apple Health, read-only, and only after you grant permission on the screen that uses it. Those series are displayed alongside symptoms you logged yourself. Nothing is ever written back to Health, uploaded, or shared.
PeriLog is a log. It performs arithmetic on entries you make and renders a summary. It does not diagnose, does not identify a menopause stage as a conclusion, and never recommends, suggests or adjusts any medication or dose. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for your clinician.
The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and contains no advertising. No third-party analytics or attribution SDK is bundled in the current release. If that ever changes, this page and the app's App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the release ships, and no health data, note text, symptom value, photograph or treatment detail would ever be included in any analytics payload.
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We never see or handle your payment details. Apple provides us only aggregate, anonymised sales reporting.
Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove synced data from iCloud, use iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, and delete PeriLog's data. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on our side, and no account to close.
PeriLog is rated 12+ and is not directed to children.
