Privacy Policy

Stepdown · last updated 31 July 2026

Stepdown is a vaping step-down planning app built around a purchase ledger. This policy describes what the app does with your information. The short version: there is no account, no server of ours, and your data does not leave your devices.

We do not collect your data

Stepdown has no user accounts, no login, no sign-up, and no backend operated by us. We cannot see your entries, because they are never sent to us.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter is stored on your iPhone, and — if you have iCloud enabled — synced to your own private iCloud database, which only you can access. That includes:

If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app works normally and keeps everything locally on that device only.

Apple Health

Stepdown does not read from or write to Apple Health.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and contains no advertising. No third-party analytics or attribution SDK is bundled in the current release. If that ever changes, this page and the app's App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the release ships, and no health data, note text, symptom value, photograph or treatment detail would ever be included in any analytics payload.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We never see or handle your payment details. Apple provides us only aggregate, anonymised sales reporting.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove synced data from iCloud, use iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, and delete Stepdown's data. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on our side, and no account to close.

Children

Stepdown is rated 17+ and is not directed to children.
