BetLedger is a self-tracking loss ledger for people trying to stop gambling.

If you need help now

This page is for problems with the app. If you need help with gambling itself, the app carries helplines for your region under Settings → Helplines, and they are one tap from the urge flow and the relapse audit too. Those numbers are answered by people who do this properly. We are not a helpline.

Getting help with the app

Email support@xuranium.com. One person reads that address, so expect a reply in a couple of working days rather than instantly.

If something went wrong, it helps to say which iPhone and which iOS version you are on, what you tapped, and what happened instead. Do not send amounts, book names or your contact's details. None of it is needed to fix a bug, and email is not a private channel.

There is no account

BetLedger has no sign-up, no login and no password, so there is nothing to recover and nothing to reset. It also means we cannot look anything up for you: your ledger is on your own device and in your own iCloud, never on a server of ours. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BetLedger → Cancel Subscription, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You do not need the app to cancel and you do not need to email us first.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling during the 7-day free trial means you are not charged. Your ledger, your streak, the money-not-lost figure, the ten-minute walkthrough and the widgets stay free afterwards, and nothing you logged is deleted.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: support.apple.com/billing.

Restoring a purchase

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. The same button is on the paywall.

Your accountability contact

You type the name and number in yourself — the app never reads your address book. Nothing is sent automatically: the app writes the message and hands it to the iOS share sheet, and you send it. Change or remove the contact in Settings → Your contact.

Locking the app

Settings → Face ID lock puts the whole app behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Worth turning on if anyone else handles your phone.

Getting your data out

Settings → Export gives you a CSV of your ledger through the iOS share sheet. It is yours.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove the synced copy, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete BetLedger's data. Because we never receive any of it, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no account to close.

What this app does not do

This app does not block, restrict or prevent access to anything. If you came looking for something that shuts a sportsbook off, this is not it, and no App Store app can reliably be. What this does is keep an honest record and put ten minutes between the urge and the bet.
