PeriLog · last updated 1 August 2026

PeriLog is a perimenopause symptom-and-treatment log that produces a printable summary you can take to an appointment.

Getting help

Email support@xuranium.com. One person reads that address, so expect a reply in a couple of working days rather than instantly.

If something went wrong, it helps to say which iPhone and which iOS version you are on, what you tapped, and what happened instead. Do not send your symptom entries, journal notes or appointment pack — none of it is needed to fix a bug, and email is not a private channel.

There is no account

PeriLog has no sign-up, no login and no password, so there is nothing to recover and nothing to reset. It also means we cannot look anything up for you: your entries are on your own device and in your own iCloud, never on a server of ours. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PeriLog → Cancel Subscription, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You do not need the app to cancel and you do not need to email us first.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling during the 7-day free trial means you are not charged. The free tier keeps working after a subscription ends, and your logged data is not deleted.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: support.apple.com/billing.

Restoring a purchase

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. The same button is on the paywall.

Apple Health

PeriLog asks to read your sleep analysis, resting heart rate and menstrual flow, read-only, so it can show them next to the symptoms you logged yourself. Nothing is written back. If you declined and want to change your mind, it is in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PeriLog. Refusing does not affect anything else in the app.

The journal lock

Settings → Face ID lock for the journal puts your notes behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. If the device has none of those set up, the lock cannot be enforced and the app says so rather than pretending otherwise.

Getting your data out

Settings → Export does two things: the appointment pack, which is the printable summary, and an export of all your data as a CSV through the iOS share sheet.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove the synced copy, go to iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete PeriLog's data. Because we never receive any of it, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no account to close.

What this app is not

PeriLog is a log. It does arithmetic on entries you make and renders a summary. It does not diagnose, does not decide that you are at any menopause stage, and never recommends, suggests or adjusts a medication or a dose. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for your clinician.
